Holly

Owner and Team Manager

Holly is the owner of Balance Business Solutions and the "face" of the business, in that she will be your main point of contact throughout.

 

As a Virtual Assistant, Holly has an extensive background of supporting a variety of companies and industries, from fashion to property. She is friendly and reliable, making sure she goes out of her way to create unique bonds with her clients. ​

​

In her spare time, Holly loves to be in nature and travelling the world. When she's not out exploring, she enjoys cooking and reading at home.

Lucy H.

Digital Marketing Specialist

Our social media and SEO expert Lucy, in her own words, is a pint-sized, thick-browed creative who has been in the Digital Marketing Industry for 5 years. She has well-rounded experience working with clients from all backgrounds, including the medical sector to construction professionals to the health and beauty industry. 

​

Lucy specialises in increasing brand awareness and quality traffic through Social Media, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and PR techniques. 

​

In her spare time, you will find Lucy socialising with her friends and family. She loves last-minute, car karaoke and horror movie nights!

Lucy A.

Written Word Specialist

Lucy has worked as a writer and editor in-house at agencies and has also been a freelance writer for the past 6 years. Ask her what her favourite thing about her job is and she'll tell you it's the variety. One day she could be writing blogs for a new estate agent. The next day she could be working on a press release for a fashion launch. She's incredibly passionate about giving brands a voice and wants to help them show their expertise and tell their story to the world.

 

When she's not typing away, you'll find her with a glass of something nice and something good on the TV. She's also a huge foodie and loves trying new and different food. 

Alana

Associate Virtual Assistant

Alana the planner, with over 20 years as a Personal Assistant, 15 years as a CPA and with senior operations management experience, working in various industries including Formula 1, Aviation and Personal Concierge is an all round go-to girl.

​

Alana prides herself on being one step ahead at all times and a firefighter when it comes to a challenge, nothing is too big or too small, getting her hands in at every opportunity to make her clients feel wholeheartedly supported at all times

Emily

Trades Virtual Assistant

Emily is our resident trades virtual assistant, she takes care of all the operational aspects of your trades business to ensure it runs smoothly so that you can focus on the work on site. 

​

Emily’s professional history includes working as Office Manager, PA and EA in the Construction, Oil and Energy sectors, and during her career has managed many clients across the trade industries for over 15 years, specialising in business growth and identifying business needs so it can reach its full potential.

​

​In her spare time, Emily likes to go to the gym to switch off and to spend time socialising with family (especially her niece and nephew) and friends normally trying out new restaurants or enjoying a glass of something nice.

Olivia

Social Media Manager

Olivia is a highly skilled social media manager with over 2 years of digital marketing experience. Olivia's design flair and knowledge make her well-practised in supporting the social management team to an extremely high standard, helping businesses to increase their online presence across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

 

In her personal time, she enjoys socialising with friends and her family (including her three beautiful children). In addition to this, Olivia volunteers her spare time to Cancer Testing as a phlebotomist and phlebotomy training.

Beth

Associate VirtualAssistant

Beth has worked in the legal property sector for 4+ years, specialising in Land Law and Conveyancing. As a result she has gained excellent administrative assistant skills and is able to work to strict deadlines whilst ensuring the upmost accuracy.

 

Beth’s passion for organisation and time management is her key in assisting business owners successfully run their business in the background. From email management, invoicing, scheduling contact to diary management to name just a few, Beth is here to provide not just help, but solutions. 

 

If Beth isn’t in the middle of a field walking her dogs, you’ll find her in a restaurant or on a beach (trying not to burn!)

Matt

Associate Graphic Designer

Matt has been in the design industry for 9 years, having always strived to ensure that his passion and enthusiasm for his work have shone through. 

​

Matt's expertise is mainly in digital corporate and advertising design, covering motion design, to PowerPoint decks. He enjoys all aspects of graphic design work, no matter what the project!

​

Outside of working life, Matt enjoys playing hockey and has been a member of his club for twenty-two years. He has even now taken on the role of a coach for one of the Ladies' teams. Gaming is also a big part of his downtime, it was in fact this interest that led him into design, as he was always interested in the way they were designed and developed.

Robyn

Associate Virtual Assistant

Robyn is highly skilled with over 9 years of administrative experience. Robyn’s knowledge makes her well-practised in resolving employer challenges with innovative solutions. Robyn is dedicated to making the lives of busy executives easier and has extensive organisation and communication skills as well as strong attention to detail. She is a problem solver, fast-thinking with a can-do attitude. She has experience in project management, events management, diary management, travel and itineraries, marketing, finance and invoicing.

 

In her personal time, she enjoys socialising with friends and family and visiting the many wonderful restaurants and pubs that Brighton has to offer. Her hobbies include attending music gigs, festivals and comedy clubs. 

Matt

Audio Content Producer

Matt has worked in the radio industry for more than 30 years and is a highly skilled audio producer, copywriter, and director. Matt has won multiple awards for his work and is a member of the New York Festivals Radio Awards Grand Jury.

 

Matt is trusted by large agencies and well-known national brands for both long-form and short-form audio content creation. He has extensive experience in his field having worked in production and programme management for the BBC, Capital Group, Bauer Media and Celador Radio.  

 

In his spare time, Matt enjoys walking and cycling around his native Somerset, travelling further afield, and rediscovering his age-old vinyl collection.

Howard

Audio Media Specialist

Howard has worked in the Media industry for more than 25 years, representing some of the world’s leading media companies including WPP and News UK. He has negotiated at the very highest level and has a proven track record in delivering results

 

During his time at WPP Howard led the £200m GroupM radio negotiations for over seven years. At Mindshare he guided the Radio team to awards success at the Arqiva Radio Awards, receiving the RAB Media Agency of the Year two years running. 

 

In his spare time, Howard likes going to the gym, improving his cookery skills and Italian red wine, but not necessarily in that order!
